3) LAND A JOB WITH THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT!

A late addition to the upcoming programming season and therefore, unlisted in our Program Book, YES is pleased to announce a new collaboration with the Public Service Commission of Canada. The PSCC will be holding an information session at YES to help interested participants increase their chances of securing employment in the Federal Public Service.

Eligibility Criteria
    Be between 18 and 34 years of age.
    Be eligible to work in Canada.
    Demonstrate relevant knowledge and/or experience within the industry.
    Work in the business on a full-time basis.
    Present a business plan demonstrating the viability of your business.
    Be in business for less than 12 months (from the time of your first sale).

The Quebec government has begun to develop a Youth Action Strategy for the 2005-2008 period...meetings are being set up with a goal to help improve the support to young people including help with entering into the workforce and to foster educational success.
