The VIES team (Vieillissement, exclusions sociales et solidarit`s) invites you
to participate in the symposium " Taking Care of Elderly Relatives: A
Family Obligation? " on Thursday, February 16, 2006, (9am at 5pm) at the
Hilton Montreal Bonaventure. This bilingual symposium will provide the
opportunity to examine this premise which is the basis for our policies and
services for seniors with incapacities. This event, which will also allow for us
to reflect on the political and practical implications of this responsibility,
is intended for researchers, students, practitioners, managers, planners,
